Raspberry is a small fruit that grows on a plant. It sports a very appealing shape that one might describe as “out of this world”. It’s apparently cultivated mostly in Russia and Serbia, which is to say that producing them has no correlation to the success of a country. Raspberry sports an incredible evolutionary feature that results in the removal of its core when picked from its housing plant. This leaves the fruit literally wide open to be stuffed with any additional food that the eater desires.
Raspberry tastes great. It’s commonly paired with its colleagues, blueberry and blackberry. Raspberry is filled with tiny seeds that some may find bothersome, and others may find enjoyable.
Raspberry became an official snack on May 12th 2012.
