A quesadilla is a simple creation that consists of two flour tortillas with cheese between them. The trio is then grilled or fried so that they fuse together into a sort of circular, flat sandwich. Like any sandwich format, quesadilla allows virtually any ingredient to be placed between it.
Quesadilla is great. After preparation, it can be cut into triangles much like a pizza, resulting in dip–able triangles that can be described as luxurious tortilla chips.
Quesadilla became an official snack on June 9th 2012.
