Nachos is a Mexican creation. It consists of a pile of tortilla chips that have various ‘toppings’ dumped on them which are in turn covered in cheese and baked. The result is a small congregation of bite–sized ‘nachos’ that are easily distributed amongst groups. The relative ease of creation and bite–sized appeal make this dish extremely popular. Nachos first arrived in America through its Mexico connection of Texas.
Nachos taste excellent. Their composition is extremely welcoming to even the most skeptical snacker. They offer excellence in texture, flavor, and modularity. It wouldn’t be surprising to hear an adolescent proclaim that “Nachos rule.”
Nachos became an official snack on June 18th 2012.
