Garlic is a type of onion that is used to season a very large array of foods. it comes in a smallish bulb, that usually produces around 10 cloves. The cloves are usually either chopped, or pressed through a special ‘garlic press’ and then combined with another food. Garlic is said to have many health benefits, none of which have been definitively proven.
Garlic is a great addition to food, but has an overpowering flavor when eaten alone.
