Custard


Custard is a thick pudding made from milk and egg yolks. Creating custard generally requires a double–boiler contraption, which is why pudding is a more standard offering. An American Civil War icon often has his last name confused with this treat.

Taste
Custard tastes great. It’s the more elegant version of the less–exciting(but more common) dessert pudding. It is a key ingredient to proper banana pudding.

Custard became an official snack on May 24th 2012.
