Cardamom is a seed that gets ground up for use as a spice. It’s popular throughout Asia and is therefore used for nearly every medical problem “under the sun”, to no avail.
Cardamom tastes great. It’s like cinnamon with something special. It’s commonly used in Turkish coffee, and a handful of desserts. Cardamom has also become a sort of staple atop Sweden’s cinnamon buns, which are excellent.
Cardamom became an official snack on June 23rd 2012.
